The Dance Exhibition

Hello Reader,

I am thrilled to invite you to the private view and launch party of Dance on 9 June, 6-9pm

House of Estila
66a Turnmill St, EC1M 5RR

Join me for an intimate private view celebrating the launch of Dance, alongside a curated selection of paintings, presented during her week-long takeover of the art wall at House of Estila from 8–14 June.

Exploring movement, rhythm, emotion, ritual and human connection, The Dancers Series captures fleeting gestures and energy through expressive colour, texture and form. The exhibition also features selected works reflecting Paola’s ongoing exploration of memory, atmosphere and the emotional language of painting.

Hosted by Creations Atelier, the evening offers a chance to experience the works in person, and connect with fellow art lovers, creatives and collectors in a relaxed and inspiring setting.

Artist Talk Magazine Feature of Embers of the Sacred Dance, Out Today

Rooted in the ancient ritual fire dances of Bulgaria, “Embers of the Sacred Dance” draws on the enduring connection between movement, rhythm, and inner transformation. This painting reflects dance as more than a contemporary spectacle or folklore. Rather it is a vital practice of physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

Through expressive, fragmented figures and a dynamic interplay of colour and gesture, the composition evokes the uninhibited state reached through ritual movement, where the body becomes a vessel for memory, belief, and communal energy. Passed down through generations, these practices remain alive in contemporary Bulgarian culture, continuing to capture the imagination of both adults and children, and reminding us of dance’s timeless power to heal and connect.

I look forward to seeing you on 9 June!

Best wishes,

Paola
